NO PLACE PRODUCTIONS. Creating Theatre for Social Change.

No Place Productions (NPP) are an established not-for-profit professional theatre company specialising in working with disadvantaged people and socially excluded groups.

We are dedicated to creating and delivering quality drama performances and learning programs as a tool to engage, educate and empower social inclusion and positive lasting change.

Officially founded in July 2014 by Actors/Producers Rachel Worsley and John Burns, NPP’s leading practitioners and artists have over 60 years collective experience creating, delivering and managing quality, unique drama programs for socially excluded people – regionally, nationally and internationally.

Our skilled team of practitioners include actors, producers, directors, writers, workshop facilitators lighting and sound technicians, and musicians.

Since 2014, NPP have developed a range of informal learning drama performances and programs, to promote social inclusion through developing transferable skills to promote positive, lasting change.

In 2018 NPP directly engaged with over 4500 socially excluded young people and adults, and as such have developed a prestigious reputation of effectively engaging ‘hard to reach’ groups. Specifically, we work with: 

• Adult and Young Offenders
• Young people at risk of offending
• Offenders’ families
• Ex-offenders
• Current and recovering drug addicts
• People of challenging socioeconomic backgrounds.

We do this through outreach delivery, working within a variety of settings regionally and nationally, including:

• Young Offenders institutions
• Male and Female adult prisons (including maximum security institutions)
• Probation Centers and Approved Premises
• Residential Drug Rehab facilities
• Youth and community centres.
• Behavioural Units
